Our equine cremation service

We pride ourselves that whenever you reach out to us, we will be there to support you. We know how upsetting it can be when a horse suddenly dies or indeed the distress of making the decision to have your horse put to sleep. Where euthanasia is planned, we can liaise with your vet to be there shortly before or after they visit and will endeavour to come out to you promptly in the event of a sudden loss.

We will attend your yard, field or stable to collect your horse and transport them with great care to Amber Lodge, where we have dedicated equine cremation facilities enabling your horse to be cremated in their entirety.

Your horse’s ashes can then be returned to you in a choice of Goodwood bamboo casket, willow basket or scatter tube, according to your wishes. If you would like us to keep a lock of mane or tail, or remove shoes, please let us know when making arrangements and we will do this free of charge.
